I'm Josh Bergeron, a hard-working journalist in North Carolina. From well-crafted feature stories to crime and politics, I’ve routinely produced award-winning reporting on a wide breadth of topics.

Most frequently, I have written about local government, environmental issues and state or national politics with local implications.

Now, I’m excited to be the editor of the Salisbury Post — a daily newspaper in Salisbury, North Carolina, halfway between Charlotte and Greensboro. I oversee all aspects of a 12-person newsroom. I’m fortunate to also be able to jump back into reporting from time to time.

A proud army brat, I've lived in 14 different cities, including Frankfort. As a result, I haven't quite figured out what to say when people ask where I'm from, but the South is home.

I'm a 2013 alumnus of LSU. Geaux Tigers!
