I'm Josh Bergeron, a hard-working journalist in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I work for The Charlotte Observer, where I’m a local news editor. I coach a team of digital-first (and sometimes digital only) reporters.

I’m also an army brat whose journalism career has involved a few moves — from the bottom of the boot to Baden-Württemberg.
