Interview after Confederate monument shots fired
A man traveled from Kernersville, North Carolina, to Salisbury (about an hour) to help protect a Confederate monument that had been a focal point for protests in 2020. As protesters moved closer to him, the man fired several shots in the air. This video interview occurred moments after with the president of the local branch of the NAACP.
