A flock of birds stream past a December sunset in a rural area of Rowan County, N.C.
A bell tower in Salisbury, N.C. juts above the tree line and into the night sky on a clear December night.
A small plane flies over Jake Alexander Boulevard in Salisbury N.C. just after sunset.
A foggy, November sunrise as seen from near the Yadkin River in North Carolina.
The tallest building in Salisbury N.C. — called The Plaza — shines in mounted spotlights on a cloudy weekend night.
The building is situated at the intersection of two of the city's busiest streets.
I changed this photo to black and white because of the strange mixed lighting and the colors they produced. Some were yellowish, others were blue.
The crushed remains of a 1971 El Camino car involved in a tragic accident in China Grove, N.C. The accident left one person unable to walk for eight weeks. In the other vehicle, two children and one teenager were injured.
The car was totaled.
It's been entirely too long since I've posted to this blog.
Here's a recent photo overlooking Jake Alexander Boulevard in Salisbury. Didn't notice until after I took the photo that there's a faint reflection of the light streaks in the sky.
I'm not sure how to prevent the reversed reflection other than not directly facing the car.
Took this picture just outside of the Salisbury, N.C. city limits in front of a church on Cottage Street. Weather was fairly rainy and gross, but it broke just long enough to head outside. Used a fisheye lens.
Near where I live there's a huge piece of undeveloped land. On this piece of property there's paved streets with curbs. The grassy areas are hugely overgrown. The overgrown grass is joined by pieces of pipe and other construction materials. I wonder what happened to this development.
